Two halves of one municipality
The town of l’Alfàs sits inland, and from it the land runs gently down to l’Albir: a plain, a pebble beach and the northern half of the Serra Gelada. Which half you are in changes the kind of door that is likely to be waiting.
Down by the pebbles

Who rings
A town where many front doors wait for months
About a hundred nationalities live in l’Alfàs. The town hall counts 2,626 Norwegian citizens on the register and estimates more than five thousand more who live here without registering (March 2026), and the Dutch and Romanian communities come next. More than half of all registered residents were born outside Spain.
Many of those homes are closed for part of the year, and the locks show it: a cylinder that grinds on the first day back, an electronic lock with flat batteries, a terrace door that will not latch after a summer of sea air. Those jobs are booked ahead, on the lock change page and the page for sliding and aluminium doors.
Then there are the people staying in homes whose owners are elsewhere: guests at the 1,219 tourist dwellings the town hall counted on the register in 2025. Owners and agencies have a page of their own; guests who are shut out simply ring.

Terms that come with every visit
No customer reviews are shown on this site yet, and none have been written for it. Where they will be. Until then, these are the terms of every job.
- An honest estimate of the drive. Worked out for your address at that hour, never a promised number of minutes.
- The price before the work. Agreed at the door once the lock has been seen, and nothing is touched until you say yes.
- The lock before the drill. Opening without damage is always tried first; drilling needs your agreement.
- Proof, asked for politely. Whoever asks must be able to show the door, the car or the safe is theirs to open. If the papers are inside, they are checked once it opens.

Questions from the first phone call
Do you go up to the urbanizations, or only the town and Albir?
All of the municipality: the town, l’Albir, the Colònia Escandinava and every urbanization from L’Arabí and La Foia Blanca to El Romeral and El Planet. Also La Nucía, Polop, Altea and Benidorm.
Can I get a copy of the house key from you?
No. This business does not cut, copy or supply keys of any kind, and does nothing with car keys, remotes or ignitions. With cars the work is opening a locked door, nothing more.
We are away for months at a time. What is worth having looked at before we go?
A cylinder that already feels stiff, the multipoint lock on a terrace door that needs a shove, and the batteries and backup key of an electronic lock. A visit is booked for a day before you fly, not on the morning you leave.
When is the price settled, and can I pay by card?
The price is agreed with you before any work starts, once the lock has been seen. Payment by cash, card or Bizum.
Is everything explained in English, the invoice included?
Yes. Calls, WhatsApp messages, the options, the price and the invoice are handled in English or in Spanish, whichever you prefer.
